Hylas  (HYE-lus)

One of the Argonauts, who was pulled into a pool by its nymphs. Hylas was the squire of Heracles, and when he disappeared while gathering firewood for the crew of the Argo, Heracles was distraught. But Hylas was nowhere to be found. He had either drowned or was now living underwater with the nymphs.
